This frame is made from wood used for a paddock at a horse farm near Ocala, fl.  The profile on the outer edge of the wood was made by horses chewing the fence. The wood was cleaned, but no finish was applied, the inside edge has been milled with a router.

Yellow Weathered Moulding



This frame is made from remnants of an old cabinet I found in a trash pile at Port Canaveral, Fl. the wood was trim moulding on the cabinet, the finish was existing when I found it.  The frame is 18 by 8 inches and 3/4 inch thick, it has been fitted with a mirror.

Dew On Plants

This frame is made from remnants of a marine structure destroyed after the 2004 hurricanes in Fl.  I found the wood along the Banana river in Brevard county, Fl.  The wood is about 2 inches thick and 11 inches square.  The color and the beveled edges were existing.  The plant is an aquatic plant commonly called a pennywort.  The photo was taken during the early morning near Ocala, Fl.; the photo appears washed out because I took the photograph of the finished frame outside on a bright day.
