This frame is made from wood used for a paddock at a horse farm near Ocala, fl. The profile on the outer edge of the wood was made by horses chewing the fence. The wood was cleaned, but no finish was applied, the inside edge has been milled with a router.
My name is Tim Abbott , here is a sampling of the frames that I make . They can be used for mirrors, photographs, art work , nautical maps or as you choose . The frames are from various wood pieces I have found and are rustic and uniquely shaped . If you have a piece you would like to use, send me a picture and the dimensions.
The majority of the frames are as I have found the wood and have no finish , some are varnished . I can add a wash of a specified color if desired . All frames have a rabbet cut on the back side for a mirror or clear glass and a backing piece to fit into. The dimensions and price are listed below the image . For a larger view click the image (your computer may require a double click) .
The frames are catagorized by the labels shown at the left and can be viewed by clicking that catagory or you can click on the name I have given each frame on the list displayed below the labels .
Any frame can be purchased by itself, as a mirror , with a photograph or with clear glass and a poster board backing .
If you have a specific size tell me what it is . I have several pieces I haven't fabricated yet, they can be viewed at : http://picasaweb.google.com/flpaintmaster/ Unfabricated frames1#
Listed prices do not include shipping preparation and postage .
